Kan Bong Seminar (Korean Staff)
Open to Soo Bahk Do students, students of other styles, and those who have never had martial arts training before. Learn the basic stances, blocks, and strikes of the Korean staff. You will learn how your staff training could easily be converted to the spear. For ages 9 and up.

What is the Kan Bong?
The Kan Bong is the traditional Korean staff recorded in the Moo Yei Do Bo Tong Ji (the oldest known Korean martial art manual). Children use a 5' staff and adults use a 6' staff. The class will primarily deal with the first form called Bong Hyung Il Bu. Techniques will be taken out of the form and implemented into coordination and sparring drills.
